CMMI for Services (CMMI-SVC) is arguably the most useful of the CMMI models, as it clearly focuses on the service being delivered to customers, including the development of the service and related products. Even if this product is developed by the "Software Engineering Institute", the services being referenced in this model are not restricted to software or software-related services.
